Manuscript Digitization and Preservation
Introduction
Srimad Vrundavanacharya Samshodhana and Prakashana Kendra, affiliated with Sri Sode Vadiraja Matha in Sonda, Karnataka, is planning to submit a proposal for the recognition as a Cluster Centre under the Gyana Bharatam initiative for manuscript digitization and preservation.
Our institution represents over 800 years of continuous scholarship in the Dvaita Vedanta tradition. We house a collection of over 9,000 manuscripts and have 15 years of demonstrated expertise in digitization, having successfully digitized 3,000 manuscripts with full scholarly verification.
The Collaboration with Gyana Bharatam (An Initiative of Govt. Of India, https://gyanbharatam.com/ ) aims to preserve and digitize India's manuscript wealth, making ancient knowledge accessible to scholars, researchers, and the public worldwide. As a Cluster Centre, we propose to extend our capabilities to serve partner institutions across Karnataka and surrounding regions.

Manuscript Digitization: Systematic digitization of manuscripts from partner institutions
Long-Term Archival Preservation: Implementing international standards for physical and digital preservation
Scholarly Research & Publications: Facilitating research and publishing critical editions of rare texts
Training Programs: Conducting workshops on manuscript handling, ancient scripts, and digitization
